For selective control of many broadcast weeds in certain crops, including cereal grains (wheat, barley, millet, oats and rye), corn (field corn, popcorn and sweet corn), fallow land and crop stubble, orchard floors (apple, pear, stone fruit and nut), rice, sorghum (grain and forage sorghum), soybeans (preplant burndown application only); forests; rangeland and established grass pastures, including Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) acres; non-cropland; grasses grown for seed or sod, ornamental turf; and aquatic areas. Best results are obtained when product is applied to young succulent weeds that are actively growing. The lower recommended rates will be satisfactory on susceptible annual weeds. For perennial weeds and conditions such as the very dry areas of the western states where control is difficult, the higher recommended rates should be used.

Description

2,4-D Amine brand herbicides include amine, ester and acid formulations of 2,4-D and MCP for post emergent control of emerged annual, biennial and perennial broadleaf weeds. 2,4-D Amine brand herbicides provide highly effective control of challenging weeds in a wide range of crops, including corn, CRP, fallow, grain sorghum, ornamental, pasture/rangeland, rice, small grains, soybean (preplant only), sugarcane, turf and more. For control of many broadleaf weeds and brush control in corn, soybeans (preplant), small grains, pastures, rangelands, and other listed crops and in non-crop areas such as lawns, ornamental turf, drainage ditch banks, fencerows and rights-of-way. Also for aquatic weed control, control of trees by injection, and tank mixes.

Recommended Uses:

• 2,4-D Amine 625 Herbicide may be used for selective post-emergent control of an extensive range of weeds in wheat, barley, triticale, oats, cereal rye, millet, sugar cane, peanuts and pastures (including the spray-grazing technique).
• 2,4-D Amine 625 Herbicide may also be used for knockdown control of broadleaf weeds before sowing cereals and pastures, and in non-agricultural situations such as roadsides, rights-of-way, playing fields and industrial areas.
