To all farmers and lovers of agribusiness, here is an opportunity to learn, unlearn and relearn agricultural practices to scale up your choice of agribusiness. The Farmhouse Reality TV Show is a project put together by a consortium of organizations from both the private and public sectors to recruit 50 candidates with interest in starting agribusiness.
The Farmhouse Reality TV Show is aimed at building around capital and wealth creation for the nation’s youth population through involvement in mechanized commercial farming among other objectives.
This reality show lasts for a period of 90 days where successful candidates will be trained, mentored and housed in an established integrated farm. All activities on the Farmhouse Reality TV show are captured and televised for the viewing global audience.
At the end of the show cum training, the most successful candidates will be exposed to further training and mentoring for another 2 years with reputable agribusiness organizations, depending on their chosen areas within the agricultural value chain. The final stage will be to help them set-up their business structures with the privilege of signing up as out-growers with big companies adding value to agric produce nationwide.
Eligibility and How To Apply
Applicants must be:
- A Nigerian
- Between Age 21 – 45
- Must have a minimum of NCE/ND Certificate
- Must be physically fit.
Date of the audition will be communicated after registration and audition takes place across six cities in Nigeria including Lagos and Abuja
