Apoquel works right at the source to stop itching and relieve inflammation in dogs. Apoquel is a prescription dog allergy medicine used for the control of itch associated with allergic dermatitis and control of atopic dermatitis in dogs 12 months and older. Apoquel reduces dog itch, and also decreases inflammation, redness, or swelling of the skin—so your dog feels better as quickly as possible
Apoquel tablets is used to treat dogs targeting allergy symptons, such as itching and inflammation. It provides quick relief of pruritus (itch) associated with allergic dermatitis and provides control of atopic dermatitis up to 12 months of age. Unlike common therapies such as steroids, cyclosporines or antihistamines, Apoquel is the only treatment specifically designed to go straight to the source of the itch.
Apoquel 16 mg (oclacitinib) is an FDA-Approved medication that provides fast-acting relief from its symptoms and treats acute and chronic pruritus in dogs. Apoquel is specifically formulated to relieve itchiness associated with skin allergies. It can also be taken in conjunction with other medications meant to treat your dog’s seasonal allergies as directed by your veterinarian.
Apoquel starts working within 4 hours of administering the first dose and controls itching within 24 hours. To ensure that it’s easy to administer the proper dosage to your dog, this treatment comes in three different dosages. Each dosage is sold per tablet, in 20 count, or 100 count bottles.
