Phyllanthus amarus: How To Treat Hepatitis B Naturally With This Plant (Pictures)

Hepatitis B is one of the deadly diseases in the world today; it is a viral disease of the liver that claims several lives on a daily basis;  Hep B claims the lives of not less than 884,000 people annually. It is a contagious disease that can survive in the human system for a long period of time, hence, resulting in cirrhosis and liver cancer before the death of the victim.

There are myriad of symptoms of Hepatitis B; it ranges from loss of appetite, jaundice, general weakness of the joints and pains, incessant fever and vomiting, rashes, colored urine, and stool, to mention a few. Hepatitis B is best diagnosed through a blood test where the activities and effects of the virus are detected.

There are several drugs that have been developed to treat Hepatitis B, such as Lamivudine and Interferon A injection; the vaccine for Hepatitis B has been available since 1982, this aids the proper prevention of this life-threatening disease. However, Hepatitis B can also be treated using herbs as proven by ethnomedical practice.

Lots of research have been carried out using different herbs and plant material; this plant has been found very effective in treating Hepatitis B and it is safe for use for both children and adult. This plant is botanically called Phyllanthus amarus, Eyin Olobe in Yoruba, Eyin Nwa in Igbo and Mache Dagooyo in Hausa.

Different studies have confirmed the efficacy of Phyllanthus amarus on Hep B Virus to be very positive. This plant is very effective in treating early and chronic Hepatitis B; it has been used and the results have been laudable.

Not only hep b, Phyllanthus amarus has been used to treat several health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, bronchitis, constipation, typhoid, flu and cold, malaria, febrifuge, syphilis, and blood purification. This plant can be found on the roadsides, gardens, farm, and any place conducive to plant growth.

 

How To Prepare Phyllanthus amarus For Hepatitis B Treatment

These are the pictures of Phyllanthus amarus; this plant has broad leaves arranged in opposite directions along the mid-rib of the plant. It has nodes at the base of the plant as seen in the picture above.

All you need from this plant is its extract. You can derive this by either boiling or cold soaking; to save time, use the former, it also allows proper deposition of beneficial compounds.

Boil a good quantity of the plant with one liter of water; the more the plants, the higher the concentration of the extract. Cover the container with a lid to prevent the escape of some valuable compounds; boil for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, strain the leaves and keep the liquid portion; that is all you need. The liquid extract has a bitter taste. Keep in a cool place, preferably the refrigerator.

 

Dosage: Drink Half cup 2 times daily; before breakfast in the morning and after dinner. Do this for 30 days consecutively and consistently and you would observe positive changes in your health status. You can go back to the hospital to test for hep B; if the result is positive, try this treatment for another 2 weeks, at the end of two weeks, you will be tested negative for hep B.

However, this herb is highly prohibited for pregnant women or nursing mothers. This is a natural treatment for hep B; it can be used to prevent and also cure other diseases as mentioned earlier.

Plants are not only meant to serve as food for man; they can also be used for the treatment of deleterious diseases. All plants have the potential to cure one or more diseases; the only limitation in their use is the level of discovery.
