Sakura has set new standards of performance, reliability and convenience for pre-emergent control of annual ryegrass and other key weeds in wheat (except durum wheat), triticale, chickpeas, field peas and lupins. Sakura is a Group Sakura is a Group 15 (K) herbicide that can be applied up to 3 days before incorporation by sowing. It provides extended residual control of annual ryegrass, barley grass, annual phalaris, silver grass and toad rush and is also registered for the suppression of brome grass (Bromus diandrusonly) and wild oats.
Description
- Sakura contains QUIZALOFOP ETHYL 10%, it is selective, systemic herbicide of Aryloxyphenoxy-propionates group. Sakura is used to control narrow leaf weeds in broad leaf crops.
- Sakura effectively controls the narrow leaf weeds like Echinochloa spp., Goose grass, fox tail, Cynodon (doob), Large crab grass, Saccharum sp. (kans), Hemarthria sp. (suttu), Wild sorghum, Volunteer paddy, Volunteer maize, Volunteer pearl millet, etc. Sakurais very quickly absorbed by the weeds and translocated and kill the weeds. The affected weeds are unable to regenerate.
- Sakurais quickly absorbed by the weeds, hence rain even one hour after spray does not affect its effectiveness.
- Weed leaves turn purplish / red within 5-8 days after SAKURA application and within 10-15 days are completely killed.

Mode of action
